For a while I have been interested in finding the best ways to contribute to one’s health and wellness. This interest may have been ignited even more as I began my work as a massage therapist five years ago, exposing me to more natural alternatives.
I had always been concerned about staying active and eating healthy, but more recently have become more concerned about how heavily saturated with chemicals and fillers everything in our homes and workplaces are. These contaminants have permeated our air, food, cosmetics and more, all of which affect our mental and physical health short-term, and perhaps more importantly, long-term.
As the world has made it’s so-called “advances”, it has also taken an extraordinary amount of shortcuts along the way to get there. Some of these show up in the products we daily slather ourselves with. These are most commonly categorized as Preservatives. They preserve the product itself, but what about “preserving” us? Isn’t that what they claim to do? More on that later…
This blog will also serve as a means for sharing my thoughts on fitness and nutrition and my cousin Dahlia will be covering articles that relate to psychology and the mind body connection.
Please stay tuned..
Looking forward to reading more in the future. Coming from these authors I will indeed stay tuned.
